£10 Lidl Plus Coupon

This is my first complete month using the Lidl App. I have £188 January spend so far and received my £2 off for spending £100. I will do one more shop in January on 22/1/21. I understand you have to use the Lidl Plus £10 coupon within 7 days which means I must use it on 22/1/21. I will spend about £25 on that date which gets me to £213. Will the £10 automatically come off  my bill after scanning my QR code or do I have to pay for a £12 shop, activate the £10 coupon which hopefully comes up immediately, and then run the second lot of my shopping through the till to get the £10 off that day?

You get the voucher after you've hit the £200 target. The voucher usually appears fairly quickly but whether or not it would appear in time for your second lot of shopping (assuming that you split your shopping and have two lots on the conveyor belt) I don't know.

If you reach the spend value only on 22/1/21 and have to use it within 7 days, why do you think you must use it on 22/1/21?  Surely you must use it by close of business on 28/1/21 (or possibly 29th, I don't know the rules).  Though you are not planning to do another shop in January, are you so far away from a Lidl that you can't make another visit within the time requirement?

I seem to remember that I got 8 days to use the £10 coupon but I reached the target on 31 december so they may have taken holidays into account.
The coupon comes off your shopping straight away so if you spend £12 it only costs you £2.
If you want to use it the same day as you get it then you will need to make sure that you have received the coupon then activate it before you scan the QR, it MUST be activated so probably best to go outside to pack your first lot away then check and see if the coupon has arrived, always assuming that you are using a live phone and not a tablet without a sim card like I do, I would have to go home to get a signal.

Really?  My local was open but I'm in England.  I think they were closed in Scotland (where Duncan is).

Thanks everyone. Providing I can get a signal, I will try a quick £12 shop, load it up and return to do the rest of my shop and hopefully get the £10 off.

This plan worked, although not ideal during covid. I`m not sure how quick the £10 bonus came up on my phone, but it was less than the 5 minutes it took me to deposit my first shop in the car.

One month later, did my Friday shop today and managed to get to £200, but this time today`s shop hadn`t registered by the time I had loaded everything in car, so I was not able to go back in and spend £11 to get my £10 coupon plus off. I am going again next Friday March 5. I assume coupon valid for 7 days means this will be ok and I will get my £10 off even though we will be into March? Does anyone know if the £10 coupon plus offer will be extended after the end of February? NB - alcohol counts towards your £200 spend but strangely it does not qualify for £10 off coupon plus so do not spend £11 on alcohol and expect to get £10 off!

Yes, you will get your £10 off as long as you use it within the seven days.

It should tell you on your app how long the coupon is valid for, change of month doesn't matter, just watch you don't leave it too late to use it though as there is no going back, I would do your next shop on Thursday just to make sure.
