As title above.  (Edit..  Fees on eg. a £300 transaction to eg water co. ???)

I'm now using my CC, and swipe facility, much more than I did pre Covid. Even to pay for a newspaper. B)

I prefer to use CC rather than my debit card.

As I normally clear the balance each month, how much does Santander make each time I use my CC?

Thank-you for all replys.

PS. Which is the best 0% CC., no fees, Balance Transfers are not needed. Experian score is pretty good.

There are fees along the transaction chain and it is variable depending on volume and value of transactions ( and confidential )

The only 0% CC you get are purchase cards (so you have a short period, maybe 90 days, to make the purchases then pay them off over a fixed period); balance transfers and money transfers (fee to transfer cash to your account without interest). There is no commonly available card that will not charge you interest on normal use outside of these offers.
Your fake/novelty score from Experian means nothing. Whatever lender is willing to lend to you based on your account history is the best.

% charge depends on volume throughput for the retailer. In general terms anything up to 3.5%. Amex is historically the worst with a charge sometimes around 4%.

You can get longer period 0% cards - up to 20 months where you can continue to shop throughout the whole 20 months. The purchases only in first 60 days is an MBNA quirk. https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/credit-cards/best-0-credit-cards/
