Do On-Pack promotions really convince you to buy products?

I usually only buy one if I see a holiday one, don't usually buy others unless DD is with me and sees one and asks if we can enter.

I buy them if they are offering a good deal.
A good example of this is Alton Towers 2 for 1 offers, they are often on products that cost less than £1 and let your turn up on the day and get two people in the park for £53. That's a saving of £15 even if you book 5 days in advance to get the cheapest rate so is good for visits if someone wants to just go on a day they feel like without planning ahead.

No, I've never purchased anything because it had a promotion printed on it and nor am I likely to as I do my food shopping at Aldi and Marks and Spencer, neither of which sell products with this type of offer.0

Mostly they are for things I'm not the slightest bit interested in, eg like theme parks as mentioned previously or a discount for something I never use. It's an added bonus if there is an offer on something I buy anyway, eg my mums yoghurt brand she buys regularly is giving away shopping bags so we are working through the family as it's only one per household. There are multiple other offers for these 'point' which are useless discounts off things we don't want like cookery workshops or family activity days in distant parts of the country ....no good at the best of times let alone in a pandemic ! Maybe these things will appeal when the grandchildren are older as they may have done when the children were smaller mostly though they are what I think of as 'money off wasting money '!!Decluttering, 20 mins / day Jan 2024 2/20

They've never interested me but I know DD got very cheap entry to Legoland when DGD was little. Martin used to flag up offers like that when I had the weekly newsletter. That stopped coming ages ago and so I don't know if it's still the case.0

I do food shopping online, I don't see any promotions. No kids, no theme parks near me even if I fancied going - and a typical week on a beach holiday is my partners idea of hell. Not even sure what else they give away, nothing I buy seems to have things like that on!1

I can't recall any product I've bought that had a on-pack promotion on it.I guess if I saw a product that had a promotion on and I was interested in the promotion, I might buy it - but only if I wanted the product too. I might upgrade products from my usual brand if the price differential wasn't to big.And I'd never buy a product that had a competition on it just so I could enter the competition.0
