UpdateMany thanks for the advice. Being a bit nervous about fiddling about with the insides of the pc tower, I decided the easiest and cheapest option was to get a USB thingummy and see what happened. It came with a disk containing drivers but the disk wasn't needed as it worked straightaway. The download speed has jumped to 32.67 mbs, which is more than enough for my purposes.1
