Will an acrylic mirror work in a bathroom?

We only have a small bathroom and its fully tiled, was wondering if I would get away with having an acrylic mirror as opposed to a glass one as I am a little uneasy about sticking a heavier glass mirror onto the tiles
My bathroom does get quite steamy at shower times so I wonder if that will affect the acrylic mirror in any way?
