Sounds like the transaction will be processed so I wouldn't be tempted to repeat. Contact PO if it doesn't turn up in your account.

thanks mate it has appeared on my online banking as pending transaction...
so if not arrived in few days will ring post office0 -
..it means that the Post Office is pretty crap at anything to do with online savings technology and should be avoided at all costs. Whilst I doubt that you will actually lose any money their online services are absolute pants and their "customer service" does not actually exist and is at best totally appalling......once bitten etc...never again!!!.."It's everybody's fault but mine...."4

I've had a Post Office Online Saver account for almost a year and not had any major issues, although I only make transfers in and out occasionally. I wasn't actually aware that they had a bad rep when I opened the account and the interest rate was good for an easy access account at the time (1.29% with a bonus (minimum) rate of 0.79%).
Did you pay into your Post Office account from your bank's app/online site (via faster payments) ? I've found this normally arrives within hours if you do it early enough, or next day at the latest. I've stopped doing any kind of request from the Post Office site itself as I've found that card payments can take a day or two and a request from your nominated bank account can take anything up to a week ! Thankfully, paying out to the nominated account seems to work better and payments are received the next day.
Bear in mind that I think those days I've quoted are working/business days so you might not expect to see anything resolved until Monday if your payment went wrong yesterday (Friday).0 -
Normally I log into to post office saver account on website...
I then deposit money via debit card (For Halifax reward account) which usually takes 1-2 days to arrive (It did this time) then transfer money out to nominated account usually takes 1-3 days to arrive0
