Minimum payment versus refund (Amex)

in Credit cards
I have a balance of let's say 25 pounds on my card. A refund of 25GBP is due into my bank account any day now. Do I still need to make the minimum payment or will the refund bringing it down to 0 be enough? Or do I need to spend 25 pounds in order to then make the min. payment?

If you mean you will get a £25 refund to your credit card (you said bank account?) which means the card is in credit I wouldn't risk it thinking it will be classed as the minimum payment, I would make the payment anyway0

I would personally just pay the balance off in full to avoid any interest or fees. If you pay off before the refund comes in, you will end up with a negative balance. But this isn't a problem because you can simply keep spending on the card until the balance becomes positive again or you can ring Amex and ask them to transfer the £25 to your bank account.0

Treat each statement as a bill which needs to be paid by the due date. Make the payment as normal.
Any credit to the account after a statement is produced should be dealt with once the next statement is produced.0
