I want to invest in some shares. I won't be paying my debts as seen as they are un enforceable0

Best of luck to you though.3 -
what makes you think they're unenforceable? If you're able to pay £1k now and £100 a month then in 15 months time you'll be debt free. You can then look at investing £100 a month in stocks (although putting it all on one company is a good way to lose money)0

Which company are you looking to invest in? A UK or US listing?0

If you have debts which you are perfectly capable of paying off but are just don't want to you won't get much support here. Also looking at the other threads your chances of avoiding them are a lot less than you seem to think.0

why do you want to invest in IAG? why not an index tracker which is far safer? Would you be happy if the Stock tanked 10-20% which it has done in the last 1-2 weeks.
Why not others Like CINE/ SHOE?
You need to have an investment strategy and not just pick a random one you read in the news or daily mail. Do your own research as only you know your own risk appetite.
I have a sizeable portion of IAG shares when I bought from 90P and been adding to them on dips. It is not for the faint hearted and nearly had a heart attack when they dipped from 170p to 138p. Can you handle they have a high cash burn and debt? They recently had to borrow more money as well, more than £2billion
Don't just see the profits you could have made, that would be a gamblers mentality, it is not an investment for a year or even 2. There will be a long road to recovery. I don't forsee pre covid prices for at least 3-4 years"It is prudent when shopping for something important, not to limit yourself to Pound land/Estate Agents"
