Progressing a House Purchase

Hi All,
Looking for some helpful advise.
My offer on a house was accepted on 29th May 2020, the Seller of this property was moving into a new build - happy days or so we thought.
The Seller then pulled out of that property and started the search process again. Fast forward to October 2020, our chain of 4 is complete.
We have a Solicitor appointed, Mortgage Approved, Building Survey done and Contracts Signed.
We are now nearly 8 months down the line, our mortgage offer is due to expire at the end of Feb and everyone seems to be dragging their heels and I just want an exchange date.
I call the Estate Agent and they say I need to chase the Solicitor, I chase the Solicitor and they say to call the Estate Agent. I have stressed the urgency to all parties that our mortgage offer expires soon and its falling on deaf ears. I have threatened to pull out, but I think they are fully aware that after waiting all this time I really want this House.
Please help.. I've tried everything, how can I get this moving.

Not a lot you can do really.

Some of the processes, particularly with the other sellers/purchasers are out of your control and/or involve third parties.

You have been in the process for nearly 8 months, but the other 3 in your chain have not.  This includes your vendor because they started again from scratch when they withdrew from the first property.  Because all 4 of you will want to exchange and complete at the same time, all of you need to catch up with each other, that includes the slowest or last link in the chain.

Don't stress too much about your mortgage offer.  Your solicitor will be aware of the expiry date and lenders will often extend the deadline if exchange is imminent, but you still have around 5/6 weeks before expiry, which might be enough time for the rest of the chain to catch up.
