Can my husband claim working tax credit?

I am expecting my first child next month and very confused about working tax credits. My husband works 24 hours a week, I am out of work so i’d be applying for universal credit as well as child benefits. Would my husband be eligible for working tax credits? Would the working tax credit be included in the benefits i’d receive?

New claims for tax credits are no longer possible. All new claims are now Universal Credit and you'll need to claim this as a couple. If you have savings/capital of more than £16,000 you'll be excluded from claiming. Use a beneftis calculator to check entitlement. https://www.entitledto.co.uk/benefits-calculator/Intro/Home?cid=3faafe25-2950-434e-9ced-7f93b20f783f

Working tax credits no longer exists for new claims and you won't be able to claim this, as advised. The benefit calculator will work out entitlement to UC. UC entitlement depends on earnings recieved during your assessment period. At the moment you'll receive standard allowance couples rate, if at least one of you is over 25 then this will be £594.04, if you need help with any rent then you'll receive the housing element on top. Your partner earnings will reduce the amount you're entitled to by 63% until the baby is born.
Once the baby is born you report the changes on your journal and you'll receive the child element of £235.83 included in your maximum entitlement.
You will then receive a work allowance of either £512 if you're not claiming help with the rent or £292 if you're receiving help with the rent. This means that you'll be able to earn that amount of money each assessment period before you start to see the 63% deductions.
If you're claiming maternity allowance then this will be deducted in full from any UC entitlement.
I'd advise you to put the details into the calculator as you are now and then put the details in again as if the baby has been born and then you'll see what you'll be entitled to.
