Royal Mail's transit link between the EU continent relies on a mix of air, road and ferries - all of which have been affected recently.
It also seems to be completely random - like your situation, some of things we sent arrived in excellent time and some just seem to be taking forever,0 -
My brother sent me a birthday card from Singapore, on 21 December (via Air Mail). It arrived, 3 weeks later, on 11 January. I lived in Singapore, as a child, back in 1963. It seems that the postal service hasn't improved much over the decades. Perhaps they're still using Constellations and Comets....#2 Saving for Christmas 2024 - £1 a day challenge. £325 of £3660
