Hi all,
I asked a few years ago but no one could help so I'm hoping things have changed.
Just under 5 years ago I entered a DMP with Stepchange which is plodding along happily. All my creditors added defaults to my file that are due to clear Feb 2022. Shop Direct with Very and Littlewoods refused and are marking my credit file with an arrangements flag. is there any way I can get them to backdate a default ?

Littlewoods/very infact all shop direct group companies have a notorious reputation for being an absolute pain to deal with, especially when it comes to defaults etc.We tend to find the only way to induce a default is to stop paying them, however you may not want to do that if all else is ticking along nicely. You can write and complain, follow their complaints procedure, see how you get on.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards.
