I have found a long lost sony dcr-trv240e in the back of my cupborad that seems to work fine but I am missing the instructions and cable to connect the camcorder to the TV.
I found some instruction manual on the net and there is a picture of the lead I need on there:
http://www.fixya.com/support/p398685-sony_handycam_dcr_trv240e_digital_8/manual-15578/page-38
Please does anyone know where I could find said lead or happen to know if it is a a standard lead that will fit most camcorders?
Many thanks, GC

Hi RR exile, is that just a normal 3.5mm jack on one end and the multi-coloured 3 on the other?
It looks like it to me but I am no expert ( hence the post!!!)0 -
Looks like 2.5mm but the thing is both audio and video, so is probably not that common0

looks like you have a choice - either a black 3.5mm jack --->RYW coloured or an s-video end ----> RYW coloured.
this will do just fine:
