Child Maintenance & company car

I have looked in various places but can’t seem to find a straight forward answer.
is the maintenance amount worked out on the bik value of the car added to your salary or is it the actual value of the car??
as an example wage of £30,000 plus a car of £15,000 so maintenance should be worked out on a salary of  £45,000 or is it the salary of £30,000 plus the bik value of say £8500 so maintenance worked out on a salary of £38,500.
looking at a new job that comes with a car so I am trying to workout if the job is actually viable. Not sure if a car allowance is offered but I know that value would form part of maintenance, so 16% of that - for two children should be paid along with the percentage of the monthly salary.
any help and clarification greatly appreciated.
