I am surprised that you think you are not being listened to I mean you plug a speaker with a microphone into the internet and connect it to amazon - what do you think is going to happen! :)

The boss and I were driving along having a chat about the possibility of fitting a particular electro/hydraulic valve on a digger, more theoretical than practical.
The next day on my weather app, up popped an advert for a certain type of valve....
Both of us have Android phones.
    Move along, nothing to see.

I'm just surprised that you folk actually notice what the ads even say - maybe just try my selective vision! ;-)

:D:D  Sorry, but this has never happened here, not via Google Home, Alexa, or my Samsung phone. Not only that but asking around a few friends on a conference call earlier, no one else had either....I'm not saying people are not experiencing it, just that it's never happened here. Maybe it only happens when other things are in play... :o

I've found that my iPhone does this. I've deliberately mentioned something obscure while my phone was nearby, and right enough, adverts for it soon after, but on my PC. I suspect it stores info about it, which Chrome has access to - and Chrome is signed into the same account on both PC and phone.
