The cost of upvc window hinges vary but they are around £20 per set depending on manufacturer. A window lock & handle is about £15 and are easy to replace. Adjust windows & french doors is just labour cost & a good installer would sort it out in a few hours max. Replacing the glazed unit depends upon size but even a large unit should cost no more than £150. So its not a bad price I would get another quote just to make sure. But as a thought check the windows guarantee.

windows are 20+ years old btw. Age of the house....

The life span of upvc glazing is aroun 20 to 30 years so it looks like your windows are getting to the end of thier life. Have you thought about replacement instead of repair. It doesn't cost to get a few quotes

not a bad price . best putting towards a complete renew though 30 years is a long life for upvc windows and times have changed with quality and thermal values for new compared to old . frames and glass
