Promised refund not received

We booked an overnight stay at a hotel and couldn’t attend due to travel restrictions in different tiers. The hotel promised a refund via email, asked for my bank details (via email) to process the refund but they haven’t done it yet. The hotel are claiming only their head office can process the refund and not them. Any advice how to get my money back please?

    How long have you been waiting already?
