45 days have passed since my credit card company acknowledged my request for chargeback. The hotel has not objected during that time so i have my moneyback
I would just like to say to farfetch and MEM62 these forums are for members to help each other, so please, stop acting like trolls

For each one that gets rejected, as a guide you are looking at the person picking it up having to spend at least a hour dealing with it. Then chances are it will go to someone else either to call you or send a letter.
Best bet give them a ring, ask for the team dealing with disputes (not the front line as they will not know & will no doubt say "Ah it's over 45 days it's OK") as other systems need to be checked Visa/Mastercard, not banks own. To find out if it has been rejected.Life in the slow lane0 -
Hi have just come back from the Canaries and noticed that we have been charged twice for a meal. Bank has told me to contact the restaurant but I can’t find an email address or website for them on Facebook only a phone number. I can claim after 30 days and if I prove I have tried to contact them…..
Should I try and phone them would rather email but there are lots of restaurants called la Taberna on Lanzarote. It’s not for a fortune but it’s the principle of it!
Any ideas? Thank you0 -
Have a look on Google, rather than just Facebook.0

I think we tried contactless first and it appeared not to work. The bank had declined our card when we arrived after we paid for the hire car and had to go through security questions to reactivate it. This was the first transaction after this. Have tried Googling the restaurants website with no success and even asked on a Facebook page but can’t find an email address.0

My post was was none of these. You were asked a question by another poster so that they could assist with your original enquiry. You did not answer and I put forward the suggestion that you may not have had the insurance coverage they were referring to. Travel insurance could have been a more straightforward and stress free route to solving your problem. How you can determine that to have the intent to upset, get attention or cause trouble is beyond me.
