Like for example the new financial system that is (apparently) coming - although OPs recent logical and well thought out thread on the subject seems to have been removed...Alexland said:
If those 6 purchases were schedueld at £2 each then that wouild be £12 plus the new £36 pa so £48 pa.Type_45 said:I make about 6 trades/purchases into VLS per year.
Is there any reason why I shouldn't switch to Iweb, which appears to be cheaper? In comparison iWeb would cost you £5 per trade so £30 pa.So after around 6 years (considering the cost of money) you should have recovered the £100 iWeb setup charge by saving £18 pa.Assuming that nothing changes in the meantime.

Unless the forum team are in the 1%, they'd do well to listen to what I'm saying.masonic said:

Presumably the more this thread drifts to the subject and style of the other one, the more likely this one is to succumb to the forum team's Type 45 thread destroyer, so make sure you get what you want from it before it's wiped....1

Good point 👍eskbanker said:Presumably the more this thread drifts to the subject and style of the other one, the more likely this one is to succumb to the forum team's Type 45 thread destroyer, so make sure you get what you want from it before it's wiped....
Anyone have anything to add regarding switching from Halifax to Iweb before this thread is deleted?0 -
That would be daring, but I guess there'll always be a defender or two of forum moderation. Let's hope our dauntless thread starter doesn't meet the fate of King Duncan in the Scottish play! A diamond geezer like him doesn't deserve to disappear in a dragon's incinerating breath.eskbanker said:Presumably the more this thread drifts to the subject and style of the other one, the more likely this one is to succumb to the forum team's Type 45 thread destroyer, so make sure you get what you want from it before it's wiped....0
