With one key Timpsons etc can copy and clone it for £50 - £100.
With no keys you need a locksmith with a laptop and lock reader who will relieve you of around £250+.

I am not being negligent by not locking my car. What happens if you have a open top car?

Can we please just post replies answering the ops question

What a strange statement. The police always advise locking your car; it is common sense.
'What happens if you have a open top car?' You put the roof up and lock it.

    Quite obviously.............

  • And you would blame me if that happened?

Good job there is a infinitely less chance of that happening than you hijacking a thread
Short & sweet. This post made me choke on my peanuts lol.
  • You never lock your car ??

We don't lock our cars, don't lock the house much either.

Some of us steer clear of the scummiest parts of the country, if I went up to the big smoke that is Inveraray when those southern tourists are visiting in the summer I might give it some thought.
