Virgin Wine Incentive refused

Options
I just wanted to say that I do think it very sad that people like me who live in rural areas are penalised, a, for the lack of signal for mobile phones, therefore not using mobile phone apps on a phone at all and b, for not realising that a download to a mobile phone if it was possible is different from logging on via the internet onto a lap or desktop.  I  was refused the voucher as I am not able to download the app to my mobile phone. Maybe it is a generational thing.  I made the switch in order to gain some meagre interest and complied, or so I thought to all the conditions and hoped to receive a bonus of  some nice wines.  Sadly not so.

  • Why not go into a town (or ask someone to do so if you can't) and download the app to qualify?

You don't need a mobile signal to download apps onto an Android/iOS phone.  Wifi will do.

I only found out today  when I chased the voucher that it was refused and now it is too late as it is after 31 days since the account opened, one of the conditions was to open the mobile app within 31 days.

So you didn't read the conditions properly then?  Your complaint seems to be about lack of mobile signal but now you say you didn't get the wine because you didn't set up the app in the 31 days stated in the literature for the account.  As was stated, you don't need a mobile signal to download an app.  You obviously have internet access of some type to be able to post on here that you could have used to grab the app.
