Bestaway warranty

I have a bestaway hawaii hydrospa which I have owed for less than 10 months.
I had a problem with limescale bits coming from the heater so bestaway advised I disconnect the pump and flush with a limescale remover which I done but then the pump developed a leak so I removed the top cover to see where the leak was and quickly saw the heater was at fault .
Bestaway are now telling me my warranty is invalid as I removed 8 screws to remove the cover , they is nothing anywhere to say if removed it invalidates the warranty.
Does anyone know where I stand with this as I've been emailing for a week now and they are very unhelpful.
Gavin

Warranty rights are different to consumer rights, and if the terms of the warranty are such that any tampering invalidates the warranty, then they are at liberty to refuse a warranty claim.
You should tell them you wish to pursue your consumer rights. They may act, or they may (rightfully) insist you have it inspected before they take any action.0
