Hi,
I have £1000 i want to put into high interest savings, but not an ISA. I may need to access the money over the next year for hols etc.
Who offers the best interest rates for the kind of saving account i am looking for?
Thanks

An ISA could be fine for your purposes and offer the best value,
unless
you're not a taxpayer
you've already got a mini-cash ISA or maxi-ISA that you opened in 2005/6
you want to invest more than an additional 2K+ in a 2005/6 ISA on top of saving up to spend on a holiday0
