Refund from company in administration

Hi,
I bought a sofa from Harvey's, on finance, in December 2019, before covid and before they went into administration. The sofa was delayed in being delivered and I only received it in July 2020.
I'm disappointed with the quality of the sofa and have emailed the support email listed on the companies website a few times asking for a repair/refund but had no response.
Is there anything I can do in this situation to get my money back? I'd thought of contacting Barclays who provide the finance but don't know if they would do anything.

Kind regards, Steve.

Assuming the finance was tied to the sale then your rights against Barclays are identical to those against Harveys however they clearly will have less infrastructure for doing inspections etc and so will insist that you get a report (as they are legally entitled to) whereas many retailers do their own inspections.

Your rights may depend on what day in July it arrived.  If it's over 6 months old, then it's up to you to show the sofa has an inherent defect.  Less than 6 months, and it's up to the retailer, and so the finance company, to do the inspection.
But "disappointed with the quality" is a bit vague as to whether or not it's actually a fault.

    If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.
