Very late (4 years) arrival of PCN for hired vehicle

Nice one, well done (and to @woodpecker44 for the advice given). MOTO have proved to be very helpful in cancelling PCNs, somewhat in sharp contrast to their rival, RoadChef, who, despite starting positively in dealing with the 'warehoused' PCNs from as far back as 2015, have recently become very uncooperative. Two quite different ways to treat customers! I wonder which will experience the greatest customer loyalty in future? Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Agreed - MOTO are coming out of all this with a better reputation than Roadchef, who I will personally boycott from now on.
There is no excuse for Roadchef supporting the likes of Group Nexus over the interests of customers, especially when they know that CP Plus can't hold registered keepers liable and have reportedly misled Roadchef about 'costs' that were never incurred.
And they have sat on these cases for 5 years then swooped on people when they are down. On what possible level of humanity does any right-thinking person believe that it is OK to do this to people and ruin their peace of mind and credit rating at this desperate time of crisis.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
