1. 1.       ENTRY ROUTES AND COSTS

 

         i.            Registration is restricted to one per person.

 

       ii.            The only way to be included in this competition is to register online at https://planetradio.co.uk/kiss/competitions/   or “the online competition page”

1. 2.       COMPETITION MECHANIC AND HOW TO WIN

 

2.1 HOW THE COMPETITION WORKS

 

2.1.1 Pre-Registration

                i.             Anyone interested in taking part in this competition must register their interest on the online competition page which includes agreeing to these terms and conditions. Refer to Section 1 for entry routes.

               ii.            Registering to take part in this competition does not provide any guarantee that you will come on-air or win a prize.

 

2.1.2 Shortlisting and being invited to come on-air game

                i.             The KISS Radio production team will pick one winner from ‘The Cheeky Nando's game' from entries at random from the pre-registered entries.

               ii.            The KISS Radio production team will contact you to check your suitability, eligibility and availability to play the on-air game.

             iii.            Being contacted does not guarantee you will come on-air.

             iv.             If you are successfully chosen and have been selected to be shared on-air game, you must be contactable on the phone number you provided and, on the time and date agreed with the KISS production team.

               v.             The KISS Radio production team reserve the right to choose another contestant from the shortlist if they are unable to contact you.

 

2.1.3 The competition will air during Sam & Omah’s (“the presenters”) show between 1200 and 1700 on Sunday the competition period.

 

                i.             The contestant will join Sam and Omah on air to play the 'The Cheeky Nando's Game’.

               ii.            Sam and Omah will bring the winner to air to ask them to guess which cheek they're slapping.

 

2.2 HOW TO WIN

 

                i.             The contestant whose story has been selected to be shared on-air will win a £50 Nando’s voucher.

 

 

1. 3.       ENTRY PERIOD

 

                i.             Pre-registration to play the on-air game will be open from 12:00 on Sunday 10th January 2021 until 10:00 on Thursday 14th January 2021.

 

               ii.            The on-air competition will broadcast on Sam & Omah’s show from Sunday 17th January 2021 between 1200 and 1700.

 

             iii.            The competition may be recorded at a different time, the details of which will be determined by the KISS Radio production team during the contestant shortlisting stage. Refer to Section 2.1.1.

 

 

1. 4.       ENTRY RESTRICTIONS

 

Entrant to the on-air and the online competition must fulfil all competition the specific terms and conditions mentioned below, in addition to Bauer Media’s Competition General Terms & Condition:

               ii.            Open to UK residents aged 18 years or over on date of entry.

 

             iii.            Our employees (and their family members) or employees of any company involved in the Competition, including any Prize Provider, are not permitted to enter.

 

             iv.             We reserve the right to disqualify any entrant or winner who does not comply with any of the eligibility criteria and/or is in breach of these Terms. We reserve the right to repeat the competition mechanic or any stage of it in order to draw a winner that fulfils all of the eligibility criteria and is in compliance with these Terms.

 

               v.             If anyone has won a competition on any Bauer Media brand to the value of £500 or more in the past 6 months, they or any person at the winning address will not be eligible to win the competition. Winning the on-air competition will trigger this condition for the online competition.

1. 5.       THE PRIZE

 

                i.             The total value of each prize list will be £50. Refer to Section 2 for details of how the competition works.

               ii.            The prize revealed during the on-air competition will be a £50 Nando’s voucher.

1. Vouchers will be sent either by email or post. If for whatever reason, we are unable to source a voucher, the cash equivalent will be awarded instead.

             iii.            Each winner must fulfil all eligibility and entry terms and conditions.

             iv.             Prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable and no alternative will be offered.

 

 

1. 6.       OTHER CONDITIONS

 

6.1 DATA PROTECTION.

Names, email addresses, and /or telephone numbers (which, for all SMS competitions, will be shared with our SMS provider,) will be collected and used to process entries. Winner’s details may be given to the prize provider to arrange delivery of the prize.  Your details may remain stored after the End Date but will not be used for marketing unless you have ticked an opt-in box on entry. 6.2 INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND CONSENTS.

By entering this Competition, you are consenting to our use of your entry both to publicise this Competition, our radio station or any other radio station which we own or control. This means that we may use all names, images, descriptions, photographs video footage, and other information, which you’ve submitted on entry, in any media, without paying you and without any time restriction. You also agree that we may film, record or photograph you in connection with the competition and /or the Prize (if you win!). We will own these films, recordings or photographs and we may use them publicly, including on the internet, for our radio broadcasts and/or for any promotional purposes. You will also have waived any moral rights or right to payment that you may have had.

 

6.3 MISCELLANEOUS.

         i.            Entries that don’t comply with these terms won’t be accepted and you may be disqualified if we think you’ve breached them.

       ii.            Participants may only enter once

      iii.            If there is a dispute about the operation of the Competition or correctness of any answers given, our decision is final and no discussion will be entered into on this subject.

      iv.            The correct answers to questions must exactly match our answers to win.

        v.            We are not responsible if you fail to get through when you call / text to enter, or if you lose signal during a call.

      vi.            You are responsible for all costs of entry.

    vii.            You may be disqualified if you are incomprehensible, inaudible or if you appear to be driving, intoxicated or likely to offend listeners.

   viii.            Whilst on-air, you must not make inappropriate or offensive statements.

      ix.            As far as it is lawful to do so we exclude our liability for any losses suffered in connection with the Competition / the Prize.

        x.            We may cancel / amend / end / suspend the Competition if we need to do so due to circumstances outside our control.
