Shell energy customer service

Hi I wondered if anyone had had the same experience as myself with Shell Energy. I switched both mine and my elderly parents energy to Shell in October. There were problems with one of the accounts so I tried to contact Shell. They are extremely difficult to contact, emails take a week to reply and the live chat has a long long wait and when I did get a reply, I got given incorrect information. One member of staff was nice to be fair but a couple were frankly quite rude and I kept my calm so I didn't provoke this, I was just confused because I had been given incorrect information and didn't know what to do.
Has anyone else had poor customer service from Shell? I am a frequent energy switcher and I haven't come across service this bad before
