Not much happening here either also feeling a bit bleurgh like taff and others. OH out with Ddog and planning a cycle ride before rain due later, it will be good for us to have a bit of space each, although we have rubbed along surprisingly well through the lockdowns and my shielding, he's a good 'un really

Sending hugs to Bella, Ruby, Ruby's DD and Marie and anyone who needs/would like one.
I think I might try to do a grand tidy up of the living room while OH is out, it is a tip and more my stuff than his, time for a grand to do list for this week, most important job is naming supper, needs to be tasty and supremely easy to prepare - not asking much then, but have enough to choose from!

Hello all, we're meant to have 8 degrees here today, almost tropical
, I'd better get out the sun cream
Not much going on in chez nous either, plenty of things to do but I can't be bothered at present. Might just plod about ....... or not ! I do have to put out all the bins and recycling later though.I was up earlier, that's my story and I'm sticking to it ! but was side tracked watching Utube as suggested by himself....... "Fascinating Aida", it's rude but really funny. It's on the lines of Victoria Wood at the piano but there's 3 of them, well worth a watch if your feeling down and needing a laugh. I especially enjoyed the Ofstead one
Yesterday the pork steaks that I thought were defrosting, that turned in to BBQ ones, were actually chinese style, so we just had those with oven chips
Tea is a mystery again today, perhaps I'll make some corned beef hash, or maybe make some pasties with it. Decisions, decisions. Bella hope today goes as well as it can. I am thinking of you
taff I like watching Rhod on stage, especially when he's ranting. The jacket potato one and the electric toothbrush are my favs. Not so fussed about his work related TV shows.Dumpling looks like you'll be very busy with the knitting. Glad you're better.RedRuby good luck to your DD for tomorrow, hopefully things will be sorted for good.Scarlett I agree with the not having to actually do a physical shop. Saves me time, effort and money as I'm not swayed to buy things I don't need and hopefully keep to my budget. I hope you are happy with yours.Right more coffee before I do something, anything. Hugs to anyone in need or facing difficulties.Take car all, stay safe.nan xxFailure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently11 -
Morning all.
Slightly less cool here today as well. I may go for a little walk, just to stretch my legs.
Bella, such a sad day for you. I hope that it won't be too long before you can fulfil your DMs wishes and give her a proper farewell.
Ruby, I feel for your daughter. I was in that position once so I know how tense she will feel. In my case, at the last minute, the judge decided that he had heard enough and he didn't need to hear my testimony, so I was off the hook. I don't suppose that your DD will be so lucky, but miracles do happen.
I have plans to use up a few wizened clementines today and make some marmalade. I also have some lemons that aren't in the first flush of youth, so could be doing lemon curd as well.
There is plenty of cleaning and tidying to do, but it's not going anywhere, so it can wait.I believe that friends are quiet angels

Not as cold here today but still a chill in the air. I had a terrible night again im just tossing and turning all night thinking things over I am shattered so I must sleep at some point surely !!
Wont be doing too much today as no energy but dd and I will tidy through lounge and kitchen and that will probably do, the pup will need a walk but she had a really long one yesterday so a short one should do today.
I think it will be filled pasta for dinner tonight with some salad and crushed avocado very tasty but no time at all to cook.
Bella I am thinking of you all today I hope all goes well xxx
DD's case if tomorrow and she doesnt have to go to the hearing unless he pleads not guilty and then they will schedule another date which she will need to attend. Thank you all foe being so kind xx
Have good days all and stay safe xx10 -
Morning folks. It's late to be posting but I've not been too idle. DM has been fed and watered and I've done the pill box filling which always takes some time, the cutting up is what is the most time consuming. Now I'm going to wander around the net for a wee while. No more snow or ice so perhaps a wee walk is on the cards, however I feel rather scared. No shopping is needed either.Bella - my thoughts are with you and your family today. Your love will shine through despite the restrictions.Ruby - I hope that all goes well today for you and DD too. At least it should bring some sort of closure for DD.Happy Monday to all.10

Feeling much better but still tired. Need to try and go for a short walk today. Also need to return some parcels via the post office. Will do some sewing of the Luna Lapin I’m making for the grandkids for Easter.Redruby hope you manage some rest today. Sending positive thoughts for your dd tomorrow. Thinking of you and your family.Bella - thinking of you and your family today.
meanmarie - thinking of you too.
camelot - hope you start to feel better soon.Hugs to anyone that needs/wants one. Take care.12 -
Bella, I hope things go as well as they can.
Ruby, take care of yourself, I hope all goes well for DD.
Wicked Lady, the Square Meal website has a rundown of 21 different box meal deliveries. I might try a low carb one once L & B have gone home. Apparently M & S are launching one soon. Talking about deliveries I see Ocado are warning about shortages because of Brexit and also producers having to close because of Covid outbreaks. I don't think they'll be the only ones.
I'm really tired, I woke in the night with leg cramps and put magnesium oil on them. It has worked really well in the past but this time I started to itch like mad so I had to shower it of at 3.00 am. I must have absorbed enough of the active ingredient though because I didn't have cramp again. I've been baby wrangling to let Laura have more sleep as she had a terrible night so I might have a nap later.
Laura and I did some sewing yesterday, it was really good to do something productive, we were making prototypes of a project she is working on with some friends and it went really well. We were very pleased with how they turned out. I also made a roast chicken dinner which was delicious (blowing my own trumpet). We had the Tesco delivery - we'd ordered 4 cod fillets and they sent 2 which was a bit strange but nearly everything else arrived.12 -
Late of me to join, well officially it is blue monday today, it started off ok but this afternoon am struggling with motivation.
Went to ald! first thing and then cancelled my waitrose click and collect planned for tomorrow, took a meter reading but can't get hold of anyone at british gas - its a pain as we have 3 electricity meters (all under the stairs - care of previous owner) so can't just do online and can't have smart meters either.
Not sure why but decided to draw a line under my unhealthy eating and work out my new macros and meal planned for the day and now my stomach is growling! I just need to get through the first worst 3-5 days of withdrawing from sugar ..........
Dog only got a short walk today but she doesn't seem bothered (long walks at the weekend) Got a few jobs to do tonight (tidy pantry, make dog treats with liver - yuck) and try and do some exercise (plank and squats a minimum) wish me luck
We got our first milkman delivery this morning, it was very exciting to have fresh milk and even oat milk for daughter and eggs on the doorstep hoping that this keeps me from needing to go out to the shops to get essentials and if we do get ill then no-one has to, I am getting sick of online shopping being changed/cancelling items and its so expensive. Didn't spend a bean at the weekend and got lots of jobs and cooking done but probably need to try and do a bit of batch cooking at least for 1/2 days in the week when CBA.
Bella - I know you dont know me as only been on here since this year but hope everything went as well as it could today and thinking of you
