How to send Paypal Invoice with no email address

Does anyone know how to send an invoice via Paypal when you don't have an email address or mobile phone number for someone?

A buyer decided (after he'd paid) that he wanted to upgrade to an overnight courier. Ebay and Paypal being as they are, don't display the email addresses any more and there is no phone number on the Ebay sales page. I am reluctant to ask him for any of these details for fear of doing something wrong (or maybe I'm being overcautious, I just don't want my Ebay account suspended for daring to ask).

I don’t think it is possible , it’s like asking how to phone someone without knowing their phone number. As you have a transaction live on eBay with the buyer you are not prohibited in sharing email addresses so you can ask for their email address. Be warned though sometimes the system still won’t allow it through.

If he has paid by paypal you will have his email address in the confirmation email. I often use this for couriers.

I rarely get email addresses any more in PayPal for eBay sales, I used to get the email on every sale, but now around 95% of my PayPal eBay payments have no email details at all. For non eBay sales on PayPal I do still get the email address though.

No email address on either the eBay or PayPal confirmations.

Go into manage orders waiting despatch,click on drop down menu to left of order,then view order details there is often a phone number under the name & address details

I have checked my last few payments and they all show the buyers email address. In Thunderbird they are in the reply to field, in Gmail they are slightly more hidden, you need to click the arrow after 'to me'.

I had a similar issue and eBay turned on a different view of My eBay that showed the email addresses

If you're on managed payments, uyou won't get the email addresses in an email like PayPal used to.

I'm not yet on managed payments but I was looking at the payments in Paypal and the Ebay order details.

However, I found a way around it as when I hit "reply" to the Paypal email notification, the buyer's email address was shown (unlike the Ebay email notification which just has their secret-Ebay-with-lots-of-digits-in email address).

Have sent  request for the upgraded postage, just have to see if he chooses to pay or not.
