Vanguard Stocks and Share ISA - Life Strategy funds - small adhoc payments in allowed?

I have tried to find the answer to this but not yet been successfull. I know the minimum initial investment for the Life Strategy funds is £500, and the minimum monthly regular payment is £100 per month, however I couldnt find any information to tell me if I can make random ad hoc payments after I have done the initial investment . e.g if I dont want to make fixed regular payments but say I get a small bonus and wanted to add in £200 as a one off - can I do this?
Really desperate to get started! Will try contact Vanguard this week, but hope one of you know the answer to this and can perhaps give me the link to the relevant information.

Yes, you can. Thank you for that - what do you mean by "it's probably not cost efficient"?

I'd love to pay in a decent intial investment, but dont want to commit to £100 per month religiously, so would be delighted if i could just pay in bits and pieces when I get them. Kind of like "spare change" - well not so much 84p, but more like £50 here and there with the occasional £100 or £200 etc...

Sniper wombat, I pay small irregular amounts into my Vanguard a/c, no problem. I would like clarification about the " not cost efficient" statement, in case I am making a financial error. Regards0

All the fees are %-age based to I don't see how a small contribution is not cost efficient. I recently invested the spare £3.40 cash I had left over from a previous EFT transaction.

Once you made the initial £500 investment, you can make investments of £1.
Also doesnt have to be same fund.
So you can invest £500 in say VLS60, then make £10 investment in VLS80 or whatever1 -
Lowest I've paid in is £5, max I pay in is £15 at the moment.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.0

Davejp, Putting money into various Vanguard funds ( as suggested) is entirely different to having more than one account. Why not select select numerous funds? Regards0
