Access2trade training and Barclays Partner finance loan

No idea who to ask or where to go with this - sometime around 2010 I enrolled on an electrician training course with Access2trade, with a finance package from Barclays Partner Finance. Shortly after and before I was able to undergo any of the training Access2trade went bust and were taken over by a different business. I filed numerous claims to be released from the credit agreement at the time and eventually went to the ombudsman, who ruled against me eventually. I have since paid off the loan in full but never received any of the training that it was supposed to buy! 

In the period that passed the takeover firm also went into administration and so there’s no option for me to go to them - I’d actually like to have some, if not all of the education that was paid for. 

In the period of pursuing my claim I landed a decent job so wasn’t dependent on the training at that time. 

Does anybody know where I’d stand on this with either the training providers or the finance providers and who to contact regarding possibly getting something for my money (£5k) or a refund? That money has been paid to someone, and It feels like having been forced to pay it back I should have something from it. I appreciate time has passed but only recent events have made me look at retraining again.
