Hi I am helping my mother apply for probate following sad passing of my father at the end of last year.
I am stuck on answering the following, if my parents were joint tennants they belived this would mean they both owend 100%. If true do I need to value the house and place a value below or can I put £0.00 as dads value?

Apologies if this is a stupid question.

Not a stupid question at all. Your parents owned the property as joint tenants, so your father's death means that full ownership of the property now passes to your mother. For the purpose of your form, you simply divide the value of the house by 2. See https://www.gov.uk/valuing-estate-of-someone-who-died/estimate-estate-value:
Valuing joint assets
Divide the value of the asset by 2 if it was owned jointly with the person’s spouse or civil partner.
Googling on your question might have been both quicker and easier, if you're only after simple facts rather than opinions!0
