Amazon Non Delivery

Can anyone help? I ordered an item from Amazon for delivery before Christmas it did not arrive. it was via a seller who will not respond to my requests. when I contact Amazon I am told it is via A to Z and I am being pushed from pillar to post. They rejected my claim stating it was delivered. IT WAS NOT delivered and despite numerous online chats I cannot get this resolved and on being brushed off by amazon. Any suggestions most welcome. This is for a significant amount of money and I want my refund.

    The way Amazon handle A-Z claims is very much in favour of the buyer, what courier was it sent by and what does the tracking show?

    The "nuclear option" is to contact your card provider for a chargeback.  Or a Section 75 claim if it was a credit card and the price was over £100.  Section 75 is better as it makes the credit card company liable to refund you themselves.
    But a successful claim risks having your Amazon account closed permanently.
    If it sticks, force it.
    If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.
