Apologise for the delay, windows crash and re-installing many programsI do have a Humax twin tuner, sat under the TV and not plugged in for a couple of yearsMainly use catchup TV, record a program on the HDD or use timeshiftIt appears LG Tvs have (Had) an issue recording to flash drivesFrom the internet, some people appear to have has sucess and others report notI bought a 32 GB USB Flash Drive specifically for using it for recording on my new TV.From the LG website
Alas, this TV (and, I think, all LG's Smart TVs) only records on external HDD (40 GBs at least); USB sticks are only for contents. This was unmentioned both in the manual and in the built-in guide.playing
The TV's recording feature (Time Machine II) just ignores the USB stick and asks to connect an external HDD.Please use only USB storage devices formatted with the FAT32 or NTFS file systemAppears I'm unluckyThanks for the replysSteve
