Support Bubble and HMO

I have been in a support bubble with my friend who lives alone through most of 2020 however I am about to move into a HMO. Can we stay in the bubble and is he still allowed to come to where I live? Obviously we wont sit in the communal areas - I wouldn't by myself either, I'm not very sociable.

Government guidance.
Houses of multiple occupation (HMOs) are made up of separate households which will have their own tenancy agreements, but share facilities, such as bathrooms, living rooms or kitchens. Each household within an HMO can enter into separate support bubbles if they meet the qualifying criteria. But because of the higher potential that coronavirus could be spread throughout the house, these households should be aware that they are potentially putting themselves and others at increased risk. They should think carefully about forming a support bubble with people not living in their house.
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.1 -
Thanks. I'll have my own bathroom and wont use the shared living room at all. My friend works in a school so gets tested every week now anyway.elsien said:Government guidance.

I see you posted the same thing accross several threads but i don't see how this can help because it's not an official document. Anyone can say they are in a support bubble by speaking so i don't know what difference the document would make. Just my opinion.

I don’t suppose you have a link to this? Can’t find it anywhere.elsien said:Government guidance.

Sounds much better than being married, bit jealous tbhBigMac79 said:
lol yes, just a friend. Just two straight guys, lifelong friends hanging out, listening to classic rock music and watching tv/movies whilst righting all the wrongs in the world. Exactly the same as we have for the last 30 odd years.Barny1979 said:A "friend" eh? ;-)

It does seem elusive. I found it eventually on the Wales gov site, no reason to think that it wouldn’t also apply in any other part of the UK.BigMac79 said:
