I have found a domain name I like, but the extn isn't  .co.uk  or . com.
Are there any pro's or cons on the extn     domainname.co   ?

    Your domain would be registered via an intermediary and subject to the rules and restrictions imposed in Colombia, as a UK national you will have very little rights should an issue or ownership complain arise. You will also find that people will tend to automatically default to .com or .co.uk when told it, rather than just leave it at .co

    If it's a personal blog etc, probably won't matter, but for a business, .com or .co.uk will be what most people look for/expect IMO
