Igloo Energy removed from Cheap Energy Club comparison?

I did a Cheap Energy Club comparison a few days ago and Igloo came up near the top of the list for me.  Having contacted Igloo for some extra info I went back to the Cheap Energy Club again today and Igloo appears nowhere in the list at all.  Has anyone got any idea as to why they are no longer listed?
Thanks

They are still listed, but they don't supply Gas Only so you won't get a result if you ask for that.
  • Interesting @Gerry1.  I was definitely asking for dual-fuel prices same as I was a few days ago too.  I just re-checked and there is definitely no Igloo rates quoted to me.  If I select electricity *only* however then I am offered some Igloo prices. Strange.

Forget the CEC, use Citizens Advice and 'Switch with Which?' to see all suppliers. The CEC didn't show Neon Reef for a very long time.
  • I'm now being offered an Igoo dual-fuel tariff again.   :o

I'm finding that Citizen's Advice is showing out of date tariffs. Like Eon Boxing Day exclusive, and they also had a Green tariff (Ohm when others were showing the slightly more expensive Baird or Sturgeon tariff), so beginning to question how much use it is.

FYI...Igloo have just announced a 9.1% price rise, puts my bill up by £44, I've just worked it out. Comes in from 8th Feb and now showing the new prices on there website if you get a quote.
Did a price comparison only last week and decided to stick with them, this latest email  now changes the game, back I go to compare others.

I found the same with CAB, found what looked like a good price but when I clicked through to the supplier, the rates were much more expensive than CAB was detailing.
I find USwitch all supplier option to be as good as any Energy Compsrison site

Thanks for the info as I hadn't realised they had increased their prices. I am part way through joining them, leaving Utility Point, so I will stick with them for now as I used a referral link to join them and have had 2 people use my link so should get £150 credit if everything goes to plan so will still work out cheaper for me. Also as there are no exit fees I can leave at any time.

Cheap Energy Club is an embarrassment, missing lots of tariffs that are cheaper than what it returns, AVRO is currently cheaper by about £60 a year for me, just switched but not listed on CEC. Martin Lewis shouldn't plug the thing as much as he does when it's clearly broken.

Which and cab have a bunch of old tariffs that haven't been available for months. In my case uswitch was better, but you have to faff about with filters to show the good tariffs as they only want to show you the ones they get kick backs in.

Deffo some scope in the market for someone to release a comparison that just works, sad that after so many years MSE continues to show they don't really care and continue to promote tariffs that, yes will save you money but won't save you the most money.

Re Avro, I have been with them since the end of January 2020.  No problem contacting them by email, easy to read bills and I have been sending readings online monthly so I know the cost.  Cheap and cheerful until you want money back, or, like me, you are entitled to the Guaranteed Warm Home Discount.  Most energy groups pay this into your Electric account between November up to the end of January.  It is paid by the Government aimed at helping people on low income turn on the heating, knowing they will be able to afford it.  However Avro refuse to pay out until the last day of March, the final date set by the government, leaving elderly and disable people worrying as to which will arrive first, their bill or the money in their account to pay for it.  My contract with them ends on 1 March 2021,  I am below the original estimated usage therefore in credit with my account, they owe me the £140 plus the money they already  have, but they have over estimated for next year.  I want to leave at the beginning of March but now fear they will not give me the money owed without a fight.  I would NOT recommend them because of this.  They are saying I cannot break my contract but my bill says, 'We do not tie you into any contract or charge you exit fees if you decide to leave'  If you are in receipt of this benefit I would advice you to steer clear of Avro.
