Unfortunately I had missed an earlier thread about this and it's now closed

I decided to move across reluctantly from Ebico last year, and was surprised to find BG accounts appearing on my credit file today. I've raised a dispute as various aspects are incorrect such as last payment and frequency both of which I had raised with BG over a month ago.

I don't see use of gas or electricity as a financial service (whatever anyone says), but if they insist on treating customers this way then they need to get their facts right and adhere to GDPR principles.

I think this is the last straw concerning my dealings with BG.😡

BG have reported accounts to the CRAs for several years.

Presumably you also disagree with your water provider reporting to credit reference agencies as well?

I think the OP is aggrieved about the report containing errors as opposed to the fact the details are there.
