Hi,
I am understanding the sign as '(motorcycles / vans / vehicles) above N1'.
Here is the parking contract sign:

At present, I can't think of a good defense, as I am not sure that my argument that signage is unclear would stand up in court. Cant anyone else think of anything? Should I proceed?0

Have you read the newbies thread template defence? That has half a dozen legal arguments. Do none apply?
That isnt how that sign reads to me, because the use of the "/" is giving an OR
Vans OR ..... AND vehicles above N11 -
TBH I am not seeing a defence...and they haven't added false costs. If you proceed to a hearing another £25 is added to their costs that they can claim if they win. So, it's either pay now at £125 or negotiate an offer, or defend and hope they drop it or lose, and if they do win then it'll be £150.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
