what type of cup cake case is everyone using. The normal paper ones for ordinary cakes or different. Some of them look like thin cardboard . I ahve tried googling but comes up with mainly ones for cakes so if anyone can point me in the right direction I would be pleased. thanks. Great ideas for this years pressies!

    Mrs Baggins.

I have these brown check which can be used for 2 flannels like the cake I made here:

I sold quite a few of the above for £1.50 at the Macmillan coffee morning last year!

I also have these red strawberry cases from the seller irishgirl posted you will see other people have used these if you look on the first page.

The first seller with the brown check cases is absolutely fabulous and really fast shipping, the 2nd seller which Irishgirl posted the link for took a little longer but both good service!

Last christmas there was a continental
Market in toewn and one of the stalls
sold flannel cakes, took some pics just
thought I would post them again to
give you some ideas esecially if you
dont have any cake cases, there is
some good use of supermarket packaging
in these along with those clear cups that the
Frappachinos come in at the coffee shops

    click on pics to enlarge

if you think about it a lot of things come in
clear boxes like these above, how often have
you seen things reduced for as cheap as 20p
sat in boxes and cartons like these on the
    reduction shelves ?

How many of those clear cups with lids get discarded
in the likes of starbucks or in bins with a good wash
    they can be re used.

So next time your out keep your eyes peeled for those
types of packaging especially if you dont have any
    cellophane

this year the flannel cakes are £3.50 in Boots
or on stalls like this one £4.99
