I’m about to buy a new boiler interest free for 10 months, would this affect my credit score?

It will show as a loan on one or more of your credit files. Lenders will factor that debt in when assessing you for credit.0

The addition of a new liability like a loan can reduce your creditworthiness slightly until you've had the account for several months and established positive repayment histoty showing that you can handle the new liability.
Additionally, the amount you pay each month will be visible to anyone else who conducts a credit search on you and will factor in to their affordability calculations when asessing you.
As for the score, doesn't matter. Only you see the whizzbang number that credit reference agencies tell you is so important. Lenders don't see this number, they see the raw data on your credit file and use their own weighting systems to asess you based on the lending criteria they have set.1
