• Competition opens at 16:00 on 05.01.2021
• Competition closes at midday on 10.03.2021 and 3 working days later for postal entries.

1)The prize comprises:

• An allowance of £100 per person (£200 total) towards UK travel costs made payable to the winner in the form of a BACS transfer;
• Three (3) nights’ accommodation for two adults and one dog at The Devonshire Arms Hotel & Spa in the Yorkshire Dales based on the prize winner and their companion sharing a Superior Room with daily full cooked breakfast (subject to availability);
• Dinner for two in the hotel’s Brasserie Restaurant each night of the stay (allocation of £35 per person per night);
• Afternoon tea for two on one day in the hotel’s Burlington Restaurant (excludes alcohol);
• Dog welcome pack for one dog, including dog bowl, treats and four-poster dog bed;
• Full access for two to the Devonshire Spa (excludes treatments) and
• Access for two and complimentary car parking on the Bolton Abbey Estate.

 

2)The prize winner must book their trip within 28 days of their congratulations e-mail from Element being sent and at least six weeks in advance of their preferred departure date or the prize may be forfeited.

3)The prize must be taken and completed within 12 months of the congratulations email from Element. The trip cannot be taken over a Saturday night, Easter weekend (1st April 2021 to 6th April 2021), during any UK Bank Holidays (3rd and 31st May 2021), or across the following periods: from 1st July 2021 to 31st August 2021 and 19th December 2021 to 4th January 2022. The prize and its components are subject to availability.

4)Where the prize winner is under 18 years old, he/she must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over to check into the accommodation. Please note that either the prize winner or their companion will need a current and valid credit card in order to check into the accommodation for security deposit purposes.

5)It is the responsibility of the prize winner to inform the prize provider of any wheelchair or similar access requirements for the prize winner and his/her companion when taking the prize, and to adhere to any applicable health and safety guidelines

6)The prize excludes transfers between the winner’s home and the train station/airport, additional meals, drinks, excursions, attractions, spa treatments, gratuities, personal expenses, travel insurance and all other costs and arrangements not expressly included in the prize.

7)The prize and all its elements are subject to availability. Neither Channel 5 nor Element will accept responsibility for the accommodation or any facilities being unavailable, withdrawn or amended.

8)There is no cash alternative or refund for unused portions of the prize.

9)Any amendments made by the prize winner after the booking is confirmed may be subject to administration charges levied by the specific supplier. Any such charges will be the responsibility of the prize winner.

11)An allowance towards UK travel costs will be provided to the winner only. The allowance is calculated at a set maximum of £100 per guest and will be made payable to the winner at the time of accommodation booking by the prize provider as a BACS transfer. Their travel allowance will be paid to the winner up to a maximum of 2 guests/£200. Neither Channel 5 nor the prize provider are responsible for organising travel arrangements for this prize, it will be the prize winner’s responsibility to organise this appropriately throughout their stay unless otherwise stated.
