Has anyone been using loot.tv and getting points or is it definitely dead? Not been on it since February.

I heard recently that Loot might only be showing ads in the US now, which is a shame. It certainly wasn't showing any for me a few weeks ago, so unfortunately there's no longer any point using it.

Loot now seems to have been rebranded as Cheddar and is back to showing ads.
It's on the Lootably wall or just here: https://cheddar.tv
Needed to create a new account and unfortunately it seems to require SMS verification and they send texts, but in the terms it says: If at any time you wish to stop receiving SMS messages from us, simply reply to the text with "STOP."
Same as before, giving 2.5 points for every video that shows an ad.

Thanks but I am not giving them my phone number. Guess I need to order a free Sim card to receive a text but wonder if they need SMS codes for withdrawals too?

Are there many adds or will it take ages to collect something so is it worth the time?

Just been trying it out since last night. Only been running it for a couple of hours or so and am up to 50 points, although it seems to be more interested in showing ads if it detects that it's your active window.
Haven't given them my phone number yet either, and if I try and redeem the points (or cheese, as they call it) or try to edit my settings, it just comes up with the SMS verification page.
I'll keep trying it out over the next couple of days and let you know how it goes.

Haven't run Cheddar for many hours in the past few days but am now up to 220 points. However, most of those came earlier on and it's been slow for me in the last two or three days.
Other people's experiences might be different, and I'll keep trying it at times over the next few weeks, but am not getting excited about it so far.
  • Any further experience with Cheddar? Is it worth it and do they pay out?
  • Haven't been getting any ads at all on the few occasions I've tried in recent weeks. Strangely, I saw someone saying there are ads for them and they're in Brazil, but someone else in the UK also reported no ads, so maybe it's something that's country-specific.
Of course am mostly not running it therefore, but will keep trying it from time to time.

Did you withdraw already from them and do they need still text confirmation?

    EDIT:
They are good going indeed and you get 2.5 points per add.

30 cheese = 2.8 Swagbucks points so rounded up to 3 and worth 0.03 USD
    30 cheese = 30 Freecash.com points, which is equal to 0.03 USD

    120 cheese = 9.6 Swagbucks (10SB)
    120 cheese = 120 Frecash.com points ($0.12)

Anyone in their list having a better conversion rate?
