BOARDING CALL, CAPITAL NETWORK - JANUARY 2021

RULES

1.     The following rules (“Specific Rules”) together with the general competition terms and conditions (which can be found at https://www.capitalfm.com/terms-conditions/ (the “ Competition Terms and Conditions”) of Global (as defined in the Competition Terms and Conditions apply to the ‘Boarding Call’ radio competition (the “Competition") which will run from Monday 11th January to Friday 15th January 2021 on Capital FM (the “Radio Station”).

2.     Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have read and accepted the Specific Rules and the Competition Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them.  

Details of the Competition:

3.     To enter the competition, Entrants must listen to the Capital Breakfast Show between 06:00 and 10:00 from Monday 11th to Friday 15th January 2020.    

4.     Each day of the Competition, a member of the Capital Breakfast team will read out two digits between 0 and 9.

5.     If anyone listening has those two digits in their mobile phone number, they are Eligible to enter the competition. 

6.     Eligible Entrants must send a text message with the keyword to 83958 (the “Text Message Line”). 

7.     For the avoidance of doubt, the Entrant’s text must be sent from the mobile phone number that contains the two digits stated on air, during that day’s Competition round. 

8.     The exact opening and closing times of the competitions will be given out on air.

9.     Text messages will be charged at standard network rates.   

10.  From the group of Eligible Entrants, one person will be randomly selected to appear on air and participate in the on-air Challenge. 

11.  For the on-air Challenge, the Selected Entrant will be asked a simple Question by the on air team, and will need to correctly answer the question on air. 

12.  If the Selected Entrant correctly answers the Question, they will be awarded the Prize. 

13.  If the Selected Entrant fails to correctly answer the Question, they will not be awarded the Prize, and another Entrant will be selected from the group of remaining Eligible Entrants to compete in the on-air Challenge. This will continue until a Selected Entrant correctly answers the Question.   

14.  If the Selected Entrant fails to answer a call, is driving at the time of the call and unable to pull over, or cannot continue the call for any reason, the call may be terminated, and another Entrant will be selected at random from all remaining Eligible Entrants, and invited to appear on air. This decision will be made by Capital Programming and will be final and no further correspondence will be entered into.

15.  The Winner will be announced on air by the Capital Presenters. 

16.  The Winner will be contacted within 14 working days of winning by Global.

101. Please allow up to 7 days from point of contact to receive your spending money via BACS transfer and up to 28 days to receive via cheque.
