Lol, yes my post was meant to be humorous and hopefully will be read that way by all but who knows lol, it's hard with typing stuff 😸

Your pic is the best solution yet! 😘 (<<< which is a wink and kiss and meant as tongue in cheek to those in doubt lol)
Just my opinion, no offence 🐈

All jokes welcome in these times......love Daffy Duck. "Listen sport, you don't know the meaning of fair play. What chance has a poor little fluffy winged creature like me have against you"
And I love my funny cartoon spinner crow. Would get a whole flock if they were still available. But you can get a TweetyPie if that suits better.
Wonder is sand paper over the porch step would deter them critters? Just enough to irritate their feet.

Saw a round balloon or ball in a garden today. It had large eyes on it and was floating around the grass. And I thought of your ducks. There were no birds on that lawn.
You could try a metalic balloon they sell for parties. That floats and waves in the wind and is reflective. Ticks a lot of boxes? They are about £3 or £4 and worth a try

2p, I'm not sure I follow the relevance of the link, but think I can see where you are going with this!

Oh darn! Thanks for pointing it out. Computers too clever for their own good - and I'm obviously not.
    Should have read
Eureeka! I've found the answer thanks to Jjah's reply to my weeds thread.

Perhaps those two numpties that used the creosote could help with supply ;)

Hmmm.... a nice idea, but given the penchant ducks have for muddy farmyards, nitrogen-rich ponds and manure piles, I suspect you may attract them rather than repel them!

    Very interesting.
In the spirit of proving I read other threads and can remember them I thought number 4 might help with your lawn too or have you already tried it!
I don't envy you either asking a friend or trying to catch dog wee (I'm sure I remember something in a !!!!!! Francis novel about getting samples from horses for drug testing after races and it sounded both difficult and boring) but presumably one could just collect and use one's own first to see if it was worth acquiring other supplies.
Re ducks: could you make somewhere else more attractive with some food or something else? Have never kept ducks so don't know much about what that might be but could experiment on local wild mallards for you. I already know that they turn their beaks up at chopped iceberg lettuce (y/s from supermarket, bought for ducks thinking they'd like a treat).

I expected someone from the Hens and Ducks thread to give their experience.
