Finance company wont supply settlement figure

Hi,
Just looking for some help. My car was wrote of 6 months ago (my fault). My car was taken by my insurance company to be sold to recover costs and a settlement figure was emailed to me. I have contacted my finance company numerous times via email (to keep an email trail) but they wont supply a settlement figure. Ive shown proof of this to my insurance where i keep requesting it, and giving the finance company permission to my insurance, but got no where as of yet. As we are 6 months down the line can anyone help as to where i can go from this. I dont have my car, and i dont have the settlement.

There is no query regarding who is at fault as the other parties claim has been settled. I have now sent an email to say i need this resolved or the car returned as i am still the legal owner.
Many thanks

The insurance will probably have paid the financier. That may have settled the finance, and there's no more owing from you.

Send them another letter, this time headed "Formal Complaint".  Say what they have done wrong, and what you want them to do about it.  Mention that if they don't resolve your complaint, you will have to take it to the Financial Ombudsman.
    If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.
