we have just found out that our Amazon and Sy Sports (via Virgin Go) Apps will no longer support services in Spain. Amazon provides a very very limited service whilst Sky Sports has gone. I received no communication from either organisation prior to Jan 1st and will try and get a reduction in subscription as I deem it a change in service provision (good luck with that!)
Let anyone you know who will be travelling to the EU that they will no longer be able to get these services

The exit deal saw the UK leave the "Digital Single Market".  That DSM meant that providers were required to make home country content available across the EU.  More information here UK TV Streaming Services After Brexit: Major Changes Coming | Cord Busters

I'm not sure how successful you'll be in a cost reduction.  Your contract will be UK based for content in the UK.  It's just that the EU DSM meant they had to make it available to you across the EU as well.  You can always ask though.

It's not dissimilar to EU-Roaming.  For now the big UK mobile networks have "no plans" to start charging again for EU roaming.  The skeptic in me wonders how long this generosity will last, given there's no regulations forcing them to provide it for free.

I know it's a bit off topic, but I'm assuming that, just like roaming, it will be possible to get Sky  etc in the EU etc but at a cost?  I don't have property there but have often enjoyed watching football in foreign  bars. 🤣

Sport will still be available in bars abroad!  There would be a cost anyway, in the EU or out of it.  Whether that's through local broadcasters, officially via UK- broadcasters, or "unofficially" via UK broadcasters, there won't be a problem getting your premier league!

Thanks. Fingers crossed we'll be away for the Euros next summer. 🤞😁
