EasyJet flight cancelled not showing on my bookings

I happened by accident to just check my bookings on EasyJet.
I had a one way Manchester to Verona in May. The flight "apparently" has been cancelled and it has been removed from my bookings.
I have called them as I need to obviously re book another flight to a different airport and change my return flight.
All they will say is, customer support will contact me, I cannot contact them... could be 14 days (yeah right!)
Any help please

Easyjet should refund you for the cancelled flight, so if you still want to go to Verona you could rebook for Venice on or close to the same date (with Easyjet from Manchester) or rebook with Jet2 or TUI to Verona direct. If you fly to Venice airport there's regular buses to Mestre, from where you can get a train to Verona - there's both regional trains which are turn up and go and Intercity trains which you book a seat on.
If you plan to book a new outbound flight with another airline you might want to do that straight away, if you can, as the prices are likely to increase as the seats fill up, which they probably will do if Easyjet have axed their Manchester to Verona route.1 -

give them a chance to actually email me to say the flight has been cancelled? How long has it been cancelled? who knows. I posted this on another flight and she has had the airport changed from Luton to Gatwick and no email about it.Thrugelmir said:

If it's over 7 days from cancellation whack a chargeback in - open and shut case if they cancelled and have not refunded.0

A chargeback can take 45 days even if they don't object to it and 90 days if they do. It seems some airlines are submitting pages and pages of their generic terms and conditions in response to any chargeback claim so that even if they know the customer is entitled to a refund, it will slow down the process as the bank has to then read all the T&Cs and ask the customer if they want to say anything in response to the airline's appeal.Butts said:If it's over 7 days from cancellation whack a chargeback in - open and shut case if they cancelled and have not refunded.

Flights with Ryanair / Holiday with LM.com two of the worst offenders with regard to refunds.

If it was showing in your bank account almost straight away it likely meant your bank has a policy of issuing a temporary credit, which is then either confirmed or removed at the end of the process. Many people have thought their refund has been sorted via a chargeback, only to get notified by their bank weeks later that the retailer has appealed the chargeback claim.Butts said:

Exactly what happened to me. I was surprised at how useless Amex were. They did sort it in the end, but it would have just been quicker for me to wait for Ryanair.epm-84 said:

Last Minute.com did appeal but failed to come up up with a plausible excuse why I wasn't entitled to a refund for a holiday that effectively cancelled itself when BA cancelled the Flights and entry to the USA was not permitted.epm-84 said:

Capital One told them to come back with some credible evidence why I wasn't entitled to a refund which they didn't. The money never left my account after being charged back initially.
Ryanair didn't appeal but remarkably my refund appeared days later so Capital One took the value back to prevent a "double refund".0
