RBS reward current account

I switched my bank account in November from Santander to RBS Reward account I saw on MSE that if you switched to them you would also get £100 which Martin thought was a good deal I’m also certain that I saw they would pay credit interest up to £2000 as well as their rewards of £5 monthly Now my statement says they do not pay any interest on this account Does anyone remember this and could help TIA

RBS don't pay interest on their Reward accounts, and never have. You can earn up to £5 in rewards which you should offset with the £2 monthly fee. You can check the precise details on https://personal.rbs.co.uk/personal/current-accounts/reward_account.html

Virgin pay 2% AER on up to £1,000. I don't know of any bank which pays interest on up to £2,000; although there are some which pay up on up to £5,000, or even £20,000, none of which are worth having for the interest.
