• Competition closes at midday on 23.03.2021 and 3 working days later for postal entries.

1) The prize comprises a two (2) night stay in Kent for two (2) people including;
a) An allowance of £200 towards UK travel costs made payable to the winner in the form of a BACS transfer.
b) Two (2) nights’ accommodation at Hever Castle’s Bed and Breakfast sharing a twin or double room in the Astor Wing
c) Daily breakfast
d) Afternoon Tea for two (2) people in the Anne Boleyn Wing with a bottle of champagne
e) 1 hour rowing boat hire on Hever Lake

f) £500 spending money
2) Where the prize winner is under 18 years old, the winning individual must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over to check into the bed and breakfast. Please note that either the prize winner or their companion will need a current and valid credit card in order to check in at the hotel for security deposit purposes.
3) The prize must be taken before 31st March 2022 but cannot be taken on or between the following dates: 26th March 2020 to 12th April 2021. The stay must be completed within the time-frame stated within these terms and conditions. Extensions to the validity of the prize will not be allowed unless first authorised by Channel 5. All travel must be completed within the time-frame stated within these terms and conditions.
4) Booking is subject to availability.
5) Afternoon Teas are served on weekends only from February to August and must be pre-booked. Booking closes at 3pm on the Friday before the Afternoon Tea date and is only available on one weekend per month (excluding Nov/Dec). Sittings are at 1pm and 3.30pm.

6) Boat hire is currently (at time of publishing 22.12.20) available daily from April to September. Boats cannot be booked in advance.

7) Please note that the Castle and Gardens are closed 3 Jan – 5 Feb 2022. If the Bed and Breakfast is available on days when the Castle and gardens are closed to the public, a Private Guided Tour of the Castle will be offered on the morning of the day of departure. This is subject to government guidelines.

8) A cheque or bank transfer for the £500 spending money included in the prize will be issued in the prize winner’s name within 14 days of the holiday booking being confirmed
9) The prize winner must book their trip within 28 days of the date of their congratulations letter from Cloud Nine and at least six weeks in advance of their preferred booking date or the prize may be forfeited.

10) Neither Channel 5 nor Cloud Nine will accept responsibility for the hotel or any facilities / elements of the prize being unavailable, withdrawn or amended.
11) Any amendments made by the prize winner after the booking is confirmed may be subject to administration charges levied by the specific supplier. Any such charges will be the responsibility of the prize winner.
12) There is no cash alternative or refund for unused portions of the prize.
13) Accommodation, footage and images kindly provided by Hever Castle.
